dendrites: & Anna (EMBRACINGLY)

Of course. She is the most important person in my life.

[ though she does take comfort in the fact the kristoff is also here to help her and keep an eye on anna in her shenanigans. elsa feels the need to hover less now that he is around, though they both know that anna can still get herself into trouble, as her several network posts have shown before. ]

Nothing happened, [ she continues, taken aback by his memory and the question itself. ] Nothing happened at all. I think he's with someone else.

[ elsa doesn't feel especially torn apart by it. she simply twists her lips to one side with the straw in between them before taking another sip. ]

No.

[ elsa lifts a shoulder calmly and even smiles a little. ] It was a bit of an intimate experiment upon my arrival, I suppose, and he very sweet, but it wasn't meant to be. I'm told that's normal. [ she still has the handmade snowglobe he had so nicely given her when she first opened the ice cream shop but even she can tell that it doesn't seem to be the right moment to bring it up. ]

Absolutely not! [ elsa exclaims, voice rising in pitch. she presses a hand to her chest. ] I don't know what else to call it. A passing flirtation? None of it sounds particularly good to me.

[ which isn't to write it off entirely. feeling pursued and giggling as often as she had felt good for an experiment/passing flirtation. but elsa isn't like most people here, having been hindered by her powers and the idea of touch for so long.

she's reluctant to let go of her glass even though all that's left in it are ice cubes.

[ she is a little too pragmatic and polite for her own good sometimes.

oddly enough, she doesn't blush as furiously as she thought she would have when discussing a past flirtation, but she supposes that it is a sign of her comfort level with bellamy and also an indication that whatever crush she might have had is truly behind her. that is a first. she'll have to remember that.

looking down into her glass, she shakes her head as she slides it onto the table again.
] No, thank you. I'm perfectly content.

Do you have any other plans after this?

That sounds like a marvelous plan, [ she laughs. it's no different than her own plans of returning to her books and finishing the financial paperwork for the shop. always keeping busy, even on holidays like this.

plus, she is certain that anna is bound to be hungry when she returns from a date full of eating with her fiancé. that will take up a lot of her time as well.

she leans forward and mirrors his position again, her eyebrows raised.
] What is it?
dendrites: (HORRIBLY)

[personal profile] dendrites 2016-05-02 08:11 am (UTC)(link)
[ elsa sounds so serious. ] I think they stole a cake for me. [ no, no, that's a safe assumption. ] The most certainly stole a cake for me. It was a small cake and it said "Happy Birthday, Roger."

[ snowgies can't read and they're probably either colorblind or have no concept of holidays, because the cake was also purple. ]

It was nice, but I do feel sorry for Roger, who is now cakeless.

Well, what is a queen without her subjects?

[ a normal person, which is what elsa appears to be on most days when she's separated from her gaggle and isn't overwhelmed to the point of snowing on anyone.

she giggles behind a hand, belatedly responding to his own laugh.
]

It was marble cake too. A very good choice if I do say so myself. I ate some before they destroyed it.

Oh, yes, the ones that lingered in the castle certainly got up to their own mischief. It seems more focused now because they were – well, they were created here. They live in the townhouse, not a castle. I think that makes a difference.

[ even elsa feels a little silly about getting into the nature vs. nurture conversation when it comes to snowgies, but it's true. ]

Do you want to come over soon?

[ the question comes without hesitation. anything for the snowgies, says elsa. they would be happy to see their brother. ] It would be nice to socialize him, certainly. I don't think you've ever been with all of them in one sitting either!

[ she leans back and laughs. boy, is bellamy in for a treat. ]
