Ah – no. Not that I know of. Oh, I certainly hope not.

[ she wishes he would consider her own story as something more tangible than a castle no one can live inside, with snow always covering the ground. she wants to remind him that she is just as real as he is. he, who hails from space only to find that the ground is more difficult than anyone anticipated.

or – that is what she imagines. he doesn't tell her much, and judging by the glimpse of his memory, which still sticks out in her mind even as she looks down at his hands while she walk together, she believes her assumption to be correct.
]

[ his hand is warm in hers. that isn't a surprise. everyone's hand is especially warm on elsa's skin, but while she is accustomed to the way anna's hands feel when she holds them, she isn't sure how to feel when she hold's bellamy's. touch is a complicated subject for her and she wonders if he has realized what he has done by holding onto her hand.

rather than pulling away, she laces their fingers together for the short duration of their walk.
]

Pizzas, [ elsa starts distractedly. ] I've had pizza once, with just mozzarella. It was quite gooey, and I remember liking it.

I should hope so. I'm told that's what makes the pizza a pizza.

[ it is a simple dish, but it is a satisfying one. scandinavian food doesn't seem to be as rich as that of other cultures, though elsa does sorely miss the desserts available in her castle.

thinking about food is easier than thinking about what she ought to say next.
] Is that it? [ she asks suddenly, pointing up ahead. ]

[ elsa appreciates being privy to parts of bellamy that she assumes he doesn't show many other people. perhaps she assumes too much, but it perhaps because she is always the first one to take him somewhere, to grasp his arm and lead him down paths now familiar to her. ]

I think – [ taking a deep breath through her nostrils, she closes her eyes and smiles. ] I think that is a risk I will have to take.

[ folding her hands under her chin, she opens her eyes and smiles at him. ] It smells divine.

[personal profile] dendrites 2016-03-19 04:31 am (UTC)(link)
I did, [ she laughs, ] a smaller version. Shall I do it again?

[ hesitating no more, she lightly touches his shoulder as she passes through the entrance to make her way inside. it's warm and cozy, but the crowd isn't very thick considering the holiday and the optimal date areas to canodle. but she suspects that is why bellamy likes going here - there aren't too many people. ]

You really should try it some time, Bellamy. I won't tell anyone.
dendrites: (WTFERY)

[personal profile] dendrites 2016-03-20 06:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, no, I want to try whatever you like here, [ she tells him, her eyes on the menu overhead. turning to bellamy, she lightly touches his arm. ] I'll leave that up to you. I trust your judgement.

[ it's a small step away from always wanting to have control over the situation, anyway. and besides, food is food and elsa isn't particularly picky, especially if she's with someone else. ]
dendrites: (SASSY)

[personal profile] dendrites 2016-03-20 11:22 pm (UTC)(link)
[ she wants him to make most of the decisions for this outing for a reason, wanting their friendship to be somewhat balanced and open, especially since she is determined to know more about him, even if it isn't as much as he knows about her. ]

Alright. I will take my duty seriously, [ elsa replies gravely before laughing, flouncing off to go in search of the perfect table. given all the choices, she goes for the best one, in her opinion: a booth by the window, but far from the door. ]
dendrites: (USUALLY)

[personal profile] dendrites 2016-04-04 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
[ she sometimes thinks about how long she has known him and how quickly the time seems to pass here. it strikes her then, as she watches him sit down and her eyes travel over his profile when he looks out the window. it is when he finally settles that she looks down at her hands neatly folded over the table.

she laughs softly.
] How much? [ lifting her head, she looks up at him with interest. she can feel a buzz from her phone in her purse off to the side, but she ignores it, preferring his company. ]

Did you order just a cheese pizza, or did you add any other toppings?
dendrites: (AMUSEDLY)

[personal profile] dendrites 2016-04-04 02:57 am (UTC)(link)
I would have eaten a bowl of mozzarella with you.

[ how cheesy, elsa chuckles to herself.

meaning business, she leans across the table to raise her eyebrows at him.
] You sound so certain. [ and she does look as if she is considering his words, eyes narrowed, lips pursed into a thin line across her face. finally, a nod. ]

Alright. [ it doesn't take much deliberation. her trust in him was officiated the moment she initiated contact and took his hand. ]
dendrites: (COQUETTISHLY)

[personal profile] dendrites 2016-04-04 03:55 am (UTC)(link)
Just one fellow. [ elsa smiles shyly and looks down at her hands again.

and, for a moment, she is at a loss for words. there are no other fellows. sure, there are people who are interested in her cuddlr profile, but she invests little in that attention.

time to change the subject.
]

Do the dogs get along with the snowgie?
dendrites: (EXCITEDLY)

[personal profile] dendrites 2016-04-04 04:59 am (UTC)(link)
Me? Wh – [ elsa chuckles and lifts her hands off the table curling them into each other and holding them to her chest. ] Oh, yes, snowgies never melt. They seem to be the only animated snow creatures of mine that don't. [ marshmallow is a little questionable because he is partly made of ice and olaf nearly sacrificed himself by the fire to help anna. but olaf gets his own snow cloud and marshmallow lives in the mountains. ]

That all sounds wonderful. Snowgies do like to sit on people. They sit on my head and Anna's often. I've stopped paying them mind when it happens.

[ but does chion sit on bellamy's head and is there a way she can get photographic evidence of this?

she leans back in her seat.
] I'm sure he likes the attention.
dendrites: (USUALLY)

[personal profile] dendrites 2016-04-04 10:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, not at all!

[ talking about anything to do with home brings out a bubblier side of elsa, though perhaps it has more to do with present company. with her suspicions confirmed, she simply keeps smiling at him. her hands drop off the edge of the table so that she can fuss with her fingers underneath the tabletop. the reason behind her fidgeting is unknown, but she needs something to do with her hands while they sit together.

it isn't a date, even if this is a date-like environment. she shouldn't pay that any mind either.
]

Do you have any photographs? Of your pets, I mean?
dendrites: (ROSILY)

[personal profile] dendrites 2016-04-06 03:29 am (UTC)(link)
[ curiously, elsa takes his unlocked phone in both hands, careful not to touch the screen so as not to disturb the application. she hates doing that. with her lips pursed to one side, she flips through the photographs, pulling at the photos to expand them and zoom in on – ]

Those little faces!

[ she laughs and even hugs his phone to her chest for a moment when she looks at a photo of both dogs. ]

They're very photogenic, Bellamy, [ she informs him seriously, nodding a few times. ] You ought to be proud of your two.
