[ bellamy's brows raise before he downs the rest of his drink, placing the glass back onto the counter. he motions for the bartender to come back, flipping the menu over so it's upside down to him. he points to a drink, motions for two, and then looks at clarke again. ]
[maybe it was a pretty big promise if she thinks about it since she has only been participated in playing the games at the arcade the one time she went with her friend. however, she still feels confident to keep her promise if he really did want her to win two stuffed animals for him to make things even.
clarke watches as she asks the bartender for new round of randomly selected drinks and she just nods while still smiling at him] Yeah, of course I can.
[ that's the confidence he likes to see in clarke, even though it'd originally made him want to destroy it. sometimes bellamy worries he's returning to that person he once was, but he's since liked who he's become. he likes teasing clarke, and he likes pushing her, but not to the point of breaking. ]
[ when those drinks arrive, he takes a swig of his. ] Do you think any of the bars survived the bombs back home?
[clarke notices that he doesn't question her words and for now she takes that as a win when she grabs a glass from their next round of drinks and takes a few more sips.
the notices the change in topic and she has to consider his words for a moment. there might have been something at mount weather but it's not like she all that focused on anything but leaving the place but alternatively she supposes there could be other place that might have survived the bombs] I don't know. I guess it's possible, there could be a bunker somewhere that has it stashed away or something that we haven't found yet.
[ bellamy says it slowly, nodding his head. lips pursed, he lifts his glass to his lips and drains a quarter of his drink. his expression's one that suggests he can believe it. after all, it's not the least impossible thing that could happen on their ground. he's since learned to expect what he hadn't even thought possible to be possible. ]

[ and so he does. there's so many things they could drink to and hadn't on the ground. endless surviving, enjoying themselves on the ground when they had the chance, saving their people from the grounders and the mountain men. bellamy thinks they're owed a few dozen drinks at this point in time. ]

[ his lips curve upward as he teases, ] So, what's the plan, Princess? You're going to get me drunk so I can stop taunting you about how un-fun you are?
[she just nods at his words and mirrors his action and takes her own glass to drink to that as well. there was definitely a lot they could drink to and while her invite doubled in meaning for his anniversary in eudio and that drink she owed him, there were other instances on the ground where they definitely could have used a few drinks for the things they had deal with.
she turns towards him, fully aware that he is teasing her and she just shrugs slightly still smiling back at him while jokingly turning this around on him. technically that wasn't the plan but hey, he brought it up] Well now that you mention it, maybe that should be the plan.
[ bellamy almost laughs, but thankfully has the foresight and control to not do so as he's in mid-drink. setting that glass down, now completely drained, he lets himself swallow, feels it burn down his throat for a reason other than it being liquor he hasn't had in a while, and does his best not to laugh. ]
