[ just like he hasn't properly answered her. it shouldn't surprise bellamy someone wants to check up on him, or that someone wants to keep an eye on him, but it may always end up being a shock to someone who has always felt responsible for those around him. ]
[ It really isn't 'nothing,' and Elsa knows that she ought to explain her sudden message. It takes her a moment to finish her thought, considering why he was the first person she messaged with such a question. ]
Anna and I had been speaking in hypotheticals, about being separated. (She's happier now, since her fiancé is in Eudio as well.) And, I've had to say goodbye a few times recently.
And so you figured you'd check to see if I'd chosen to leave?
[ wherever octavia goes, bellamy follows. though he doesn't expect her to know octavia at all, he figures someone — raven, clarke, lincoln — would've said something to eudio at large. he suspects if it's raven, she'd speak about the stupidity of the blakes, and if it was clarke, she'd say something that would make him wonder if she'd been that girl all along, just trapped and believing she had been alone when he had always stood by her side. ]
My sister's boyfriend came in with her. She's not leaving.
O's probably busy getting herself into trouble somewhere.
[ bellamy's certain he should be more worried about that. octavia getting into strife is what had torn their family apart before — but he has a feeling o getting into trouble might be worth it if she's smiling. he'll always bail her out. ]
You'll probably meet her sooner rather than later. She's the girl with dirt on her face.
Yeah, she's been with me. I wouldn't be surprised if she showed him how to be a bigger pain in the ass while I've been out.
Thanks for coming over. He seems to have calmed down just a bit. Nike's been falling asleep to that classical stuff.
[ and so has bellamy, who falls asleep during most films these days. he doesn't know why that is, but he's starting to think it's because he becomes so relaxed he drifts off. which isn't bad, in his opinion. ]
It was nothing, helping you with the snowgie. This is the most active I've been with them — the snowgies at home live in my ice castle. I may have told you that already.
[ he's not so sure how to take that snippet of her. he's always figured the snowgies were as active in her life as nike has become — a part of him that he can't leave behind, literally, and a fixture that he can't really think of himself without. ]
What does a snowgie do? Besides whatever snow's meant to do.
[ he may read books and watch those christmas movies, but he still doesn't know what an animated snowball is meant to do. lay itself along dry patches of grass? throw itself at people and instigate snowball fights? ]
They are something like spirits of mischief. There were hundreds by the time I recovered from my cold several years ago. You can still find them in the kingdom but they are much happier surrounded by ice.
Marshmallow likes the company, I think. Olaf likes visiting his 'little siblings' as well.
Is that a big snowball? Or an ugly creature made of rock?
[ he's seen a few movies with creatures dubbed as golems in them. he has a feeling elsa wouldn't befriend something so ugly and dangerous — he doubts rock would be able to survive comfortably within an ice kingdom. but he's never quite forgotten she's from a different world, one he doesn't think he'll ever come to understand. ]
Does this horse of yours look half dead? Made of snow?
[ bellamy's seen pictures of horses from this earth, and they look as healthy as the depictions of them in the books he's seen on the ark. the ones that had been alive and used by grounders, however, were as dead as the zombies in those films featuring shaun. it's weird sometimes, seeing a world that isn't poisoned by radiation. ]
My horse is very much alive and all flesh and bone. She is dapple grey horse with lovely white speckles that make her look as if she's been dusted by snow.
Does she like the cold? The horses I've met were large and ugly, and didn't seem to like Sky People very much.
[ having rope joining him to a horse hadn't been fun. it hadn't been anything close to fun when he had to watch one of his own people be dragged along the ground while he had to remain hidden, unsure of how to even attack the grounder before he'd allowed fear and adrenaline take over. ]
[ he assumes grounder horses take after their riders. it just makes more sense that way. ]
[ does anyone enjoy the cold as much as the queen of it? bellamy doubts it. the greek gods kind of enjoy themselves, even though he doesn't believe elsa's anything like those guys — selfish, manipulative, greedy. ]
The horses I've seen have been affected by radiation. Never ridden one before.
Find it believable a horse can endure the cold, though. Considering they survived an apocalypse, guess they can survive almost anything.

Oh, no, it wasn't. My apologies.
[ Well, now she's a little flustered, even if he can't see her, even if she doesn't know what sort of expression he might be wearing right now. ]
I'm glad you're still here.

Yeah? Why? Thought Chion drove me crazy enough to leave?
Not quite there yet.

I've not spoken to Octavia at all. I would like to meet her one day, especially after hearing you speak so fondly of your sister.

Oh, goodness. I did speak to her over video message. She was looking for you and I helped as best as I could.

I hope you lied to her about how I've been doing here. She doesn't need to know I haven't tried ice-cream in a cone yet.

I thought I would leave the fun parts to you. :)
Has she become properly acquainted with Chion?

I realize it looks a bit silly, but he also has deadly icicles that protrude from his back when he is especially defensive.

Do you ride your snow marshmallow monster like this all the time?
You look nice.
no subject
Oh, no. If I must ride, I go by horseback. I've a wonderful steed at home, actually. There's no need for snow transport.
Thank you! She always captures my best qualities.

Horses are beautiful! We have many of them in Arendelle. I think mine enjoys the cold enough, though not as much as I do, obviously.
[ Matching Elsa's enthusiasm is difficult. The only person who comes close to that is Kristoff. ]
