you think i don't know that already? [of course she knows and more importantly it's not something she's forgotten either. there was a time when she had seen finn's ghost but she hasn't told anyone about that but whether it was seeing wells or anyone else from home who had died, she wouldn't joke or even lie about something like that]
my reason for coming here hasn't changed.
i know something like that shouldn't be possible and i don't even know how he's alive either but he's here. i saw him, i talked to him and i wanted to give you a heads up about it.
[ what else is there to say? bellamy feels responsible for wells' death. if he hadn't told charlotte to slay her demons, he would still be kicking and breathing. ]
[ or so he likes to think. ]
[ he remembers the tension between she and wells. he remembers what wells had told him so long ago. they'd been friends once. maybe they had been friends again before he had died. the kid means little to bellamy, save for one of their first soldiers down. he'd been responsible for that. it's something he refuses to let go or even forget, despite the fact he never speaks or utters his name. ]
[it's kind of ironic because while bellamy feels responsible for wells' death, clarke does as well. she was the reason he was even on the dropship in the first place and she was too busy focusing on hating him that she didn't realize until too late that he'd been letting her hate him so she wouldn't hate her mother instead. it was something that clarke thinks she should have figured that out sooner or at least not jumped to conclusions so easily because maybe things would have been different or so she hopes they would have been.
is she okay? wells had asked her that too earlier and clarke isn't too sure about it now either. she is glad he's here, that she gets gets the chance to see him and spend time with him like she used to but at the same time it's still very surreal to her] yeah. i'm okay, just surprised that it's possible for him to be here too.
