[ She's rolling her eyes some, though. Can you tell, Bellamy? ]
Any chance I could actually get some legit info, or are you too committed to the brooding and mysterious thing?

[ which may be very poor, given that he's only ever given out the basics of what one could find on a file. he's not necessarily the most social person, but neither does he think himself to be stupid to willingly give out everything about himself. what more is there to know other than his name, age, and lack of interest? ]
Depends on what kind of info you want.

[ Name and age are nice, as is the picture and his disinterest, but come on. You're here to cuddle with people, Bellamy; you have to give something more than that for people to be willing to help you fulfill your end of the bargain. ]

I'm from space.
I like stories and card games and shooting things.
I was fighting a war.
Riveting profile.

As someone not from space, not fighting a war, and not familiar with shooting things? It actually kinda is.
But hey, if you don't want to chat, that's fine. It's not like my heart will be broken or whatever.

[ if bellamy's to detach himself from it all, he can see how it is to someone who lives the kind of life he actually wants — boring and normal. but given how people seem interested when he says he's from space, he really shouldn't be surprised her response is just like everyone else's. ]
[ if he looks at her profile and looks at it properly, it's not because he's remotely interested. ]
What's pool?
[ he doesn't quite know that the game he sometimes plays is called that. this world doesn't exactly come with labels on everything a space loser would be unfamiliar with. ]

[ Comparatively, Bellamy, Brooke's life is quite dull. ]
It's a game. It's also called billiards, if that's familiar at all?
You play it on a table with this green felt stuff and there are holes you have to sink balls into with a stick called a pool cue.
It's a lot more fun than I just made it sound, too, I promise.

[ bellamy doesn't think himself to be remotely interesting, even though he's been here long enough to understand that the moment he says he's from space, people get asking the odd questions that he knows stem from all those horrible movies that are far from accurate. ]
[ the game she describes sounds familiar, but he's since learned a lot of games available to play are very similar in their rules or their equipment. instead of behaving like he's disinterested, he throws her a line — and a little more about himself, even though he thinks it to be incredibly boring. ]
I'll have to hold you to that. Think I played it before, but can't be too sure.
We don't have many games in space. Go fish. Solitaire. Anything with small things is usually what I played. We didn't really have room for much felt.

[ It seems like a lot of the people she's talked to here have pretty crazy lives compared to her own. Coming here was actually probably the weirdest thing that ever happened to her, although she has suffered some pretty awful tragedies in her life. ]
That sounds really cramped and awful.
If you ever want to play, there are a couple places here with tables. I could teach you.

[ what places house pool? bellamy could google, but he's still pretty reliant on simply asking people for information. guess the self-isolation and becoming a caveman is something that's slowly in the works for b. blake. ]

[ it isn't through the power of friendship as it is bellamy blake just opening a door or intimidating someone into letting him inside. but it sure is the power of being nice that's having him speak like he's not himself, though. "we." "you." "together." the latter will always smart. ]

[ Wouldn't that be weird, two guys she's talked to over this app both working in the same place. ]
no subject
[ haha. bellamy would probably hate himself even more (if that was at all possible) if he worked in another retail-like place. the perks seem okay, but it's not worth the headache. ]
Good chance I know someone or they like people who make coffee.
no subject
[ She's teasing, of course; he could be perfectly personable face-to-face. ]
no subject
That so hard to believe?

[ if bellamy thinks he lacks any kind of skill, he sure as hell doesn't suck at shoving himself into social situations that are friendly. ]
When you want me to prove you wrong, just let me know. Maybe I can add that to my profile.
"Likes proving people wrong."
no subject
[ She's amused, though, and interested in seeing if he can really prove her wrong about this. ]
How's Saturday work for you?
no subject
If I prove you wrong, you buy me a drink and tell your annoying club of profile nitpickers to leave me alone.
[ there has to be a club where they all meet up and schedule a time to ask bellamy the exact same question over and over. there's a conspiracy here! ]
no subject
As far as I know, though, there's no club for that. And if there was, it'd be a seriously pathetic one.
