I haven't entirely deciphered how this all works on phones. As you can imagine, it's quite different, where I'm from. The courtship, I mean.

I would just be yourself. I think that's usually the first step to courting. Since you want to court me. I thought we were having a nice conversation before you tried to flirt with me and now you want to court me. Next you'll want a cuddle.

It is serious! Though I make it a point to have more fun nowadays, while I can.

[ Sure, there is always the constant worry that they'll take Anna – either Anna – away from her, but it all seems rather secure from where she stands. There has always been a fun, spirited side to Elsa that had been long dormant until a few years ago. May as well let it show more often. ]

And what does a queen of ice and snow do for fun?

[ he'd say do you wanna build a snowman but bellamy and keeping up with the times ... but for someone who isn't normal and boring like him, he's genuinely curious. ]

[ Of course, Elsa knows what she likes, but when asked about it, it's as if her mind goes blank and she takes a moment to respond. ]

Well, I have an ice cream parlor to run with my sister. We love creating new flavors and sundaes! I also like shopping, learning new things about how this world works — I've discovered Netflix and movies on demand. I also have a dog and, now, a pig thanks to Anna, so they keep me busy.

Oh, and I still love reading.

[ half of this goes way over bellamy's head. netflix, movies on demand — he's tempted to tell her to steer clear of adam sandler, all because of what jem said. ]

Arild. Anna named him after the zoo breakout.

[ That was Anna's idea too, actually. Better than crafting some elaborate scheme to meet him. Or threatening young men on the network in her honor. ]

[ bellamy's first instinct is to say no, don't worry, but it's not like he's got a lot of friends and his schedule is packed with things to do. he doesn't have grounders to think of, if he lets himself not think of them at all for the first time in what feels like an age. ]

I'll see if my sister wants to come. I don't know if she's had ice cream yet, but I'm sure she'd like it. If I can tear her away from the beach first.

You may encounter a few small snowmen upon entrance, just as a fair warning. They're mostly harmless, the snowgies.

What do snowmen/snowgies do that I should be aware of?

Let's say you packed some snow between your hands and formed a ball. They're about that size with little feet, eyes, mouths.

They are always up to no good! Tying shoelaces together, knocking things down. I think the few that have remained from my cold are quite taken with Eudio.

[ elsa, your life is just so weird. the things she finds normal, bellamy can barely comprehend. ]

Snow can come to life?

By my hand, sometimes, yes.

[ She is not going to mention Marshmallow and Olaf to him juuuust yet, having unloaded a great deal of information onto him recently. ]

Right. I forgot. Snow Queen.

[ he definitely wasn't taught this in earth skills. he doubts even the oldest people on the ark know about this kind of stuff. magic hadn't really been prevalent in the stories he was told as a kid, but sometimes it had a hand to play, like turning people into animals for the sake of saving an ego. ]

I kind of thought bringing snow to life was kind of impossible. It's snow. Doesn't it usually sit on the ground? What can snow things even do?

I could very well describe it to you, but I'd much rather show you myself. :)

[ And, well, there are few things Elsa likes more nowadays than showing off her powers. It's liberating, though most people wouldn't quite know it. It actually warms her heart, seeing the looks on people's faces when she creates impromptu ice rinks or sculptures. She did that. And people like it. They think it's wonderful or beautiful. ]

[ bellamy's the kind of guy who picks up on things pretty fast. he hadn't been as stupid as aurora wished for him to be to not notice what she was doing for the sake of her family. he'd been quick to learn the ways of the grounders so he could impersonate one with lincoln, and he'd memorised the corridors of mount weather to ensure he wouldn't be found. but what elsa's been telling him is pretty hard for him to imagine, let alone understand. ]

Probably is. I'm having a really hard time trying to imagine it. The pictures of snow I saw was just a blanket of it. There was just nothing. It was like the ocean or what space looked like outside the window.

Everything about you is unbelievable.

[ She hesitates before asking: ]

Is that a bad thing?

No.

[ bellamy isn't the kind of person to let another's insecurities get the best of them. it's been ingrained within him to never let o beat herself up over her own life, of who she is, of who she happens to be remembered as. maybe it's the fact he's the only older sibling of all the ark population to ever exist, but it's not in him to say it's a bad thing. even though he can barely comprehend anything she tells him she's capable of, it belonging in a storybook than real life, it's far from bad at all. ]

It's just really hard for me to wrap my head around any of this being real. It's the stuff you find in books or the stories your parents tell you to get you to sleep. It's incredible.

[ That's what she is to many people here – something from the stuff of fairytales, a snowflake queen from the score of The Nutcracker. It doesn't bother Elsa. She prefers people wondering about her magic than others trying to whittle it down to a science. At the same time, she also supposes that it's their way of trying to understand, to compartmentalize the unknown into something they can swallow. ]

Perhaps you should come by my and my sister's ice cream shop – Olaf's. I can show you then.

[ and if she shows him, if it isn't some make believe thing, then bellamy isn't so sure if he'll ever come to accept it being something normal. it's hard, trying to believe that there may be people out there able to control different parts of the world. it belongs in books. it belongs in his imagination. it doesn't belong in real life. ]
